Expanded set of Bachelor of Technology programs
McMaster University & Mohawk College
September 2006

The McMaster University Faculty of Engineering and the Mohawk College Faculty of Engineering Technology are partnering in developing a new and expanded set of Bachelor of Technology programs.  The programs leading to this degree combine advanced technology education with management studies.  The concept and programs are described on this website: http://btech.mcmastermohawk.ca

Of particular interest are three degree completion programs (Civil Engineering Infrastructure Technology, Computing and Information Technology, and Manufacturing Technology) designed to enable technology diploma graduates of Mohawk College (or other Ontario Colleges) to obtain a McMaster University degree in two years.   These programs, which are offered in evenings and Saturdays to facilitate part-time study, are likely to be of interest to technologists who work with PEO members; please pass on this information to those who would benefit from one of these programs.   Courses begin in September 2006 and information on applying for admission can be found on the above website.
